Anna specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration, as well as complex litigation related to arbitration proceedings. She represents sovereign states and private parties in arbitrations conducted under major arbitration institutions and rules.

Anna’s work experience includes representing and advising:

• A state in an investor-state arbitration under the ICSID Rules related to the construction of a hotel and a multi-level car park;
• A state in an investor-state arbitration under the ICSID Additional Facility Rules concerning insolvency of a railcar producing plant;
• A state before Russian commercial courts in a series of litigation proceedings in connection with the attempts to enforce an arbitral award against the state;
• A state in a commercial arbitration under the LCIA Rules concerning the circulation of securities;
• An investor in relation to potential investment arbitration against two European states;
• A Russian power generation company in a bankruptcy case in connection with a claim to declare the debtor’s transaction invalid;
• Over 200 individual workers before Russian commercial courts claiming unpaid salaries from an insolvent Russian contractor;
• A large South Korean business conglomerate before Russian commercial courts in relation to litigation proceedings concerning the termination of a pledge agreement;
• A major energy company in an SCC arbitration against the companies of an American multinational energy conglomerate concerning performance of the power plant maintenance agreements.
